Client Brief: The journey began in mid-2022 when AusFloorworks had the privilege of collaborating with the project’s architect, interior designer, and project manager. The client was looking for a premium finish for their Head Office based out of Melbourne CBD. Through detailed discussions, we presented a range of floor finish options tailored to meet the client’s specific requirements. After careful consideration, the polished concrete skin was chosen as the ideal choice, perfectly reflecting the client’s image and reputation.

Results: We delivered our premium flooring system, the Polished Concrete Skin, known for its high-end quality and extensive customisation options. Our process involved meticulously installing custom mixed aggregates screed onto the existing floor, followed by precise grinding, refining, and polishing, resulting in a stunning and functional floor finish.

Key Achievements:

1. The project successfully achieved the essential requirements of a P3 slip rating and a non-reflective Matte finish (with 10% gloss levels).
2. As the office was a working environment, we meticulously prepared and installed the floor during non-working hours, ensuring minimal disruption.
